Terms of service
Plain-English terms.
Last updated: 2026-05-10
These terms govern your use of SellerDost — the marketing site, the dashboard, and the WhatsApp Saarthi assistant. By signing up or accessing the service you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.
1. Who can use it
SellerDost is for Indian e-commerce sellers (sole proprietors, LLPs, private limited companies). You must be 18+ and authorised to bind the business you sign up for. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts at our discretion.
2. Your responsibilities
- You own the marketplace data you upload or authorise us to fetch. You confirm that uploading it to SellerDost doesn't breach any agreement with Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, or another marketplace.
- You keep your login credentials secret. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
- You don't reverse-engineer, scrape, abuse rate limits, or attempt to access another seller's data.
- You comply with applicable laws — GST, IT Act, marketplace ToS, the Consumer Protection Act, etc. SellerDost helps you comply, but the legal obligation stays with you.
3. Our responsibilities
- We run the service with commercial-grade reliability — target 99.5% monthly uptime.
- We host your data in India and follow our Privacy Policy.
- We tell you about material changes (pricing, terms, scope) at least 14 days in advance via the email on file.
4. The Saarthi assistant
Saarthi is an AI assistant. Every number she states comes from a typed tool call against your own data — never a generated estimate. Tax, legal, and regulatory answers carry an explicit "confirm with your CA" disclaimer because we are not your tax advisor. SellerDost is not liable for decisions you make based on Saarthi's output.
5. Subscription + billing
Subscriptions are monthly unless you choose annual. You can cancel any time from /settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are not available for partial months. Failed payments retry up to 3 times before we suspend the account. Pricing changes apply at the start of your next renewal — never mid-cycle.
6. Beta + early-access status
Until we exit private beta, the service may have rough edges. Some features are gated behind feature flags (WhatsApp dispatch, SP-API auto-sync, Sarvam voice loop) and ship as external partners approve them. We'll tell you which features are live in the dashboard's "coming soon" cards.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by Indian law, SellerDost's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, business interruption, GST notices, marketplace de-listings, etc. The only exception is gross negligence or wilful misconduct, where statutory rules apply.
8. Termination
Either side can terminate any time. We'll give you 30 days notice for non-fault termination so you can export your data. We may suspend or terminate immediately for ToS breach, illegal use, or non-payment after the 3-retry window.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes go to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra — whichever has jurisdiction over the matter. Both sides agree to attempt good-faith mediation before any legal proceedings.
