Refund & cancellation

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for a SellerDost subscription. It complements our Terms of Service (§5, Subscription & billing) and applies to every paid plan purchased through Razorpay.
1. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from Settings → Subscription — no email, no phone call, no retention hoops. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep full access until that date; we don't cut you off mid-cycle.
2. Refunds
- Monthly plans: because you keep access for the full cycle you've already paid for, partial-month refunds are not issued. You simply won't be charged again.
- Annual plans: cancel within 7 days of the initial purchase for a full refund, provided the account has not been used to generate GST filings or export bulk reports. After 7 days, an annual plan runs to the end of its term and is not refunded on a pro-rata basis.
- Duplicate or failed charges: if you were charged twice for the same period, or charged after a confirmed cancellation, we refund the erroneous amount in full — no questions asked.
3. How to request a refund
Email support@smeminds.com from the address on your account with your registered business name and the Razorpay payment reference. We acknowledge within 2 business days and, where a refund is due, process it within 5–7 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Razorpay; the time it takes to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
4. Chargebacks
If something looks wrong on your bill, please contact us first — we'll almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may result in the account being suspended pending resolution.
